SBP to remain closed for three days on Eidul Fitr

(Web Desk): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a three-day public holiday for Eidul Fitr 2025. The bank will be closed from March 31 to April 2, 2025 (Monday to Wednesday).

Earlier, the federal government declared Eid holidays from March 31 to April 2 for offices that work a five-day week, and from March 31 to April 4 for those that follow a six-day work week. 

Additionally, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Sunday, March 30, along with regional committees, to sight the Shawwal moon. This will mark the official end of Ramadan and confirm the date for Eidul Fitr celebrations.
