Salaries of ministers, advisers increased by up to 188%

Islamabad: The federal cabinet has approved a summary for the increase in the salaries of federal ministers, ministers of state, and advisers. 

Following the approval of the bill, the salary of a federal minister, minister of state, and adviser will be Rs519,000. 

According to sources, the salaries of federal ministers, ministers of state, and advisers have been increased by up to 188%. 

Two months ago, the Finance Committee approved an increase in the salaries and allowances of members of parliament to match those of federal secretaries. 

The approval was granted unanimously by the Finance Committee of the National Assembly, chaired by Speaker Ayaz.
