Lakki Marwat: The police foiled the third attack by armed men on a police station in a week in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
An exchange of fire took place between the police and the attackers who fled after the police retaliated vigorously.

It is pertinent to note that police stations and police personnel are the targets of terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa these days, and frequent attacks on police stations, police personnel, and Khawarij are also ongoing in Lakki Marwat. A few days ago, three police personnel were injured in an explosion on a police mobile.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised the police for foiling the terrorist attack on the police station in Lakki Marwat. He said that the police bravely fought the Khawarij terrorists.
