‘Attack took place when police constable Gohar was traveling home on his motorcycle’

(Peshawar): A remote-controlled bomb blast was carried out on a police constable in the Loi Sam Bajaur police station limits of Peshawar, but he narrowly escaped unharmed.
According to the report, DPO Bajaur, Waqas Rafiq, stated that the attack took place when police constable Gohar was traveling home on his motorcycle.
DPO Rafiq also mentioned that Constable Gohar's father, the late Gul Shali, had been martyred in a bomb blast several years ago.
DPO Waqas Rafiq further added that the police have started an investigation into the incident.
