Tehran: A blast has been reported in a park near a state-run broadcasting company in Tehran early Saturday. No casualties were reported.

According to security authorities, a loud explosion rocked northern Tehran near the headquarters of the state broadcasting company and it was not certain if the blast was the result of an accident or an attack.
The explosion happened inside Mellat Park, a vast and popular green space in the capital to the headquarters of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.
There were no casualties reported, Iranian media said.
The deputy security chief for Tehran Province, Hamidreza Goudarzi stated, “There was only one explosion”.
Asked if this was a terrorist attack, Mr. Goudarzi said investigators were at the scene, looking into the scope and details of the explosion.
Videos shared on social media show multiple fire trucks rushing to the scene, and bystanders can be heard wondering if it was a bomb or an accident.
