Taunsa: More than 100 people have been confirmed to be infected with HIV in Taunsa in the last three months.
According to Deputy Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Usman Khalid, only one case of HIV was registered in Taunsa in December 2024, after which the screening process was started and it was found that more than 100 people were infected with HIV.
The DC said that most of the patients are children, but an investigation committee has been formed to find out the reason for the spread.
