WhatsApp let users to add music to status
Users can add up to 15 seconds of music for image statuses and 60 seconds for video statuses


California: A great feature is being added to the globally popular messaging app WhatsApp, through which users will be able to add temporary music clips to their profile updates.
According to a report, under the new feature, WhatsApp users will now be able to easily add song clips to their status.
According to the company, the feature has started to be introduced to users around the world and it will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
WhatsApp’s status feature is present in the app as WhatsApp updates, which users use to share text, photo, and video messages that disappear automatically after 24 hours, similar to the Stories feature available on Facebook and Instagram.
How to use this feature?
While updating a status, WhatsApp users will see a music note icon at the top of the screen. This icon will allow users to add music to their WhatsApp status.
Users can add up to 15 seconds of music for image statuses and 60 seconds of music for video statuses.
According to the company, WhatsApp's music library has millions of songs for statuses where users can choose to use the exact part of the track as the status sound.
