Police arrest over 11 suspects during operation


(Web Desk): Karachi witnessed a surge in celebratory gunfire as soon as the moon for Eid was sighted, resulting in more than 15 people being injure
The incidents occurred in various areas, including Baldia Town, Orangi Town, Landhi, Korangi Industrial Area, Manghopir, Nazimabad, and others.
Rescue officials confirmed that the injured included women and children. They were immediately rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Civil Hospital, and Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
In response, the police launched a crackdown across the city to arrest those involved in celebratory gunfire. Over 11 suspects were detained during the operation. Arrests were made in multiple locations, including the SITE area, Saeedabad, Ittehad Town, Manghopir, North Nazimabad, Sharae Noor Jahan, Mochko, and Rizvia Society.
Police recovered weapons from the suspects and registered cases against them. Further investigations are underway as authorities continue to address the issue of celebratory gunfire.
