New working hours of government schools will be effective from April 7 to October 15

Lahore: A new schedule of summer working hours has been issued in government schools in Punjab.
The Punjab School Education Department has issued an amended notification according to which the new working hours of government schools will be effective from April 7 to October 15.
Single-shift schools will remain open from 7:30am to 1:00pm.
On Friday, schools timing will end at 11:30am. Double-shift schools will remain open from 7:30am to 12:00 pm, second-shift will continue from 12:00pm to 4:30pm, and on Friday, these schools will start at 2:30pm.
