‘John Wick 5’ officially announced, Keanu returns
‘We can’t wait for audiences to see where the journey takes us next’

(Web Desk): Keanu Reeves is set to return as the legendary hitman, John Wick, in the upcoming ‘John Wick 5’, ending rumors that his character died in the fourth film.
The exciting announcement was made by Adam Fogelson, the chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Chad Stahelski, who directed all four previous ‘John Wick’ films, will also return to direct the fifth installment. The ‘John Wick’ series has grossed over $1 billion worldwide, making it a huge success.
In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Fogelson said that Keanu, Chad, and the producers wouldn’t return unless they had something truly exciting and fresh to offer fans of the franchise. He added, “We can’t wait for audiences to see where the journey takes us next.”
This announcement comes after ‘John Wick 4’ ended with a cliffhanger, leaving John Wick's fate unclear after a duel with the character Marquis de Gramont, played by Bill Skarsgård. Fans were left wondering if John Wick had died, but now they know he will return for another chapter in the saga.
