Price of silver remained steady at Rs3,580 per tola

(Web Desk): Gold prices hit a new record high in Pakistan on Thursday, following the rise in international gold rates.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs325,500 after a Rs500 increase. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold rose to Rs279,063, up by Rs428, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The bullion market had been closed during the Eid holidays.
Internationally, the price of gold also went up, reaching $3,089 per ounce, with a $20 premium, an increase of $5 for the day. On the other hand, the price of silver remained steady at Rs3,580 per tola.
