Senior Indian actor worked in over 100 films passes away
Ravikumar's last rites will be performed at his residence in Chennai


Chennai: Veteran actor Ravikumar Menon of India's Tamil and Malayalam films has passed away at the age of 71.
According to Indian media, Ravikumar had been suffering from cancer for a long time. He died on Friday morning at a private hospital in Chennai.
The actor's son has confirmed his death. As soon as the news broke, his fans expressed deep sorrow and condolences on social media.

Ravikumar started his film career in 1967, but he got real fame in 1976 with M. Krishnan Nair's Malayalam film 'Ammaan'.
According to Indian media, Ravikumar also worked in more than 100 Malayalam and Tamil films and also in several TV serials.
Ravikumar's last rites will be performed on Saturday at his residence in Chennai.
