Karachi: A pregnant woman was killed by the suspects during a robbery on the Site Super Highway in Karachi.

According to the police, two armed robbers opened fire on a couple riding a motorcycle near the Faqira Goth, Pesharan Chowk, Site Super Highway, resulting in the woman’s death.

It is also reported that the victim was pregnant and has been identified as 25-year-old Saima Zoja Irfan.

The police have expanded the scope of the investigation, including obtaining footage from cameras installed around the area and geo-fencing, to arrest the robbers involved in the murder of the pregnant woman during the robbery.

On the other hand, a person was killed in a firing incident during a dispute in the Malir City area. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Hamza.

According to the police, the deceased was killed during a dispute. Four 30-bore shells were found at the scene.

Meanwhile, a 10-day-old body of a woman was recovered from a residential flat in Federal B Area Block 21. The woman has been identified as 65-year-old Nizat Fatima, wife of Abdul Bari.

Police say that the woman was living alone in the flat. The cause of death and more details will be revealed only after the post-mortem of the body.

Additionally, the hanged body of a young man was found near a house near Bhimpura Imambargah. The deceased was identified as 19-year-old Din Islam.

Police said that initially, the incident appears to be a suicide, but further investigations are underway.
