Dr. Hussain confirms that COVID-19 is still present in Pakistan

Karachi: The personal physician of the President of Pakistan, Dr. Asim Hussain, stated that President Asif Ali Zardari's health is gradually improving, and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital and sent home by tomorrow or the day after.
Speaking to the media in Karachi, Dr. Asim Hussain mentioned that the less severe variant of COVID-19 is still spreading. He advised against spreading rumors, despite what political opponents may say or twist, and emphasized the importance of caution.
He said, “Indian media often picks up statements from our social media and spreads propaganda through mainstream media, so we must be cautious.”
He added that rumors about the President's health were spread through artificial intelligence-generated videos, which were used to create false information.
Dr. Hussain confirmed that COVID-19 is still present in Pakistan, but antiviral medications are now available.
He also said that the reports circulating on social media were inappropriate and that President Zardari has issues with blood pressure and diabetes.
The personal physician stated that the President’s health is completely fine, and that meetings with him are restricted, with only doctors having access to him. A panel of expert doctors is continuously monitoring the health of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Dr. Hussain further mentioned that the President's family is being informed daily about his health status.
