Incident occurred when trailer driver attempted to overtake woman’s vehicle, causing minor collision


Karachi: A woman fired shots at a trailer driver following a collision with her luxury car in Isa Nagri area on Saturday.
Police have arrested both the woman and the trailer driver, taking them into custody for further questioning.
According to police officials, both individuals were arrested and transferred to the police station, where a case was registered. They were both named in the same FIR. The incident occurred when the trailer driver attempted to overtake the woman’s vehicle, causing a minor collision. Enraged by the incident, the woman drew a pistol and began firing into the air.
A police officer, who filed the complaint, confirmed that the woman fired shots after the collision. The trailer driver, identified as Zafar Iqbal, was apprehended by authorities. The woman, identified as Alisha, presented a 9mm pistol license at the scene.
The police categorized her actions under section 337, and both vehicles were seized. Alisha was sent to the Women’s Police Station, while Zafar Iqbal was transferred to the PIB Police Station.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the weapon license presented by the woman had expired. Authorities are investigating whether the weapon license is genuine or counterfeit.
