Price of 24-carat pure gold per tola decreases by Rs5,500, reaching a record Rs320,000


(Web Desk): After reaching a peak, the price of gold suddenly dropped by thousands of rupees.
The All Pakistan Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-carat pure gold per tola decreased by Rs5,500, reaching a record Rs320,000.
Similarly, the price of 24-carat 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs4,714, selling at Rs274,348, while the price of 22-carat 10 grams of gold fell by Rs4,322, reaching Rs251,494.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola also saw a decrease of Rs460, bringing it to Rs3,120, and the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs395 to Rs2,674.
According to the association, the global market price of gold fell by $51, with the price per ounce recorded at $3,038.
It is worth noting that on April 3, the price of gold per tola across the country had reached a new high of Rs325,500 rupees after an increase of Rs500. Similarly, 24-carat 10 grams of gold had become Rs428 more expensive, selling at Rs279,063.
