Earthquake of magnitude 5.4 strikes near south coast of Indonesia’s West Papua: GFZ

(Reuters): A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck near the south coast of Indonesia’s West Papua on Thursday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), it said.
GFZ had initially pegged the earthquake at 6. There were no immediate reports of damage after the earthquake.
