16-year-old girl raped by maternal uncle, close relative commits suicide

Muzaffargarh: A 16-year-old girl who was raped by her maternal uncle and a close relative in Muzaffargarh allegedly committed suicide.

According to the police, a day before the suicide, the girl had told her father and sister that her maternal uncle and a relative had raped her two months ago.

Police say that the girl was suffering from severe mental stress, after which she allegedly committed suicide.

The police have arrested the accused and sent samples from the girl’s body to Lahore for forensic tests.
