Mustafa Aamir murder case: Key accused Armaghan shifted to hospital amid chest pain
Court extends Armaghan’s physical remand until April 24

Karachi: The main accused in the Mustafa Aamir murder case, Armaghan, was shifted to Jinnah Hospital by FIA officials after he complained of chest pain. After an initial medical examination at the hospital, the accused was returned to FIA custody.
Later, Armaghan was presented in a money laundering case, where FIA officials requested an extension of his physical remand. The investigating officer requested the court for more time to submit an interim challan (charge sheet) against Armaghan.
According to the FIA, the forensic examination of 18 laptops recovered from the accused is still pending at the Punjab Forensic Laboratory.
The court accepted the request and extended Armaghan’s physical remand until April 24.
During the hearing, Armaghan stated in court that he was not harmed by the FIA, and that a medical examination was conducted on the court’s order. The accused further said that he had met his mother and, on her advice, had signed the power of attorney for Advocate Khurram Abbas Awan.
