By market close, the rupee ends at 280.72 against the dollar, down 10 paisas from 280.62

Karachi: The Pakistani rupee saw a slight decline against the US dollar on Friday, falling by 0.03% in the inter-bank market.
By the end of trading, the rupee closed at 280.72 against the dollar, down by 10 paisas from Thursday’s rate of 280.62.
Globally, the US dollar strengthened on Thursday after a period of weakness, while the euro slipped slightly. The drop in the euro came after the European Central Bank reduced interest rates for the seventh time in a year.
