Filtration plant has capacity to purify 2,000 liters of water per hour and will benefit thousands of students, faculty, and residents of university

Lahore: Dr. Lubna Zaheer, Chairperson of the Department of Film and Broadcasting at Punjab University, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Sarwar Foundation for donating a modern water filtration plant to the School of Communication Studies.
The donation was made at Dr. Lubna Zaheer's request, and the inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of former Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali.
While addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Ali emphasized the importance of access to clean drinking water for students and staff. He praised Chaudhry Sarwar and the Sarwar Foundation for their contributions to public welfare and thanked them for supporting the university.
Dr. Lubna Zaheer expressed hope that this collaboration with the Sarwar Foundation would lead to more welfare projects in the future. The filtration plant has a capacity to purify 2,000 liters of water per hour and will benefit thousands of students, faculty, and residents of the university.
She also thanked Hamza Dogar for his support in the successful completion of the project.
