Peshawar, Swat, Mardan and adjoining areas also experienced earthquake tremors


Lahore: Earthquake tremors have been felt in Lahore, Islamabad, and other cities of Pakistan on Saturday.
According to the seismological department, the magnitude of the earthquake is 5.9 on the Richter scale.
The depth of the earthquake was 94 kilometers, and the epicenter was the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border.
According to the Seismological Center, earthquake tremors were felt in the federal capital Islamabad, Lahore, Mardan, Malakand, Abbottabad, Chitral, Buner, Swat, and surrounding areas.
Earthquake tremors were also felt in various cities of Punjab, including Sarai Alamgir, Sheikhupura, Phalia, and surrounding areas.
People got out of the buildings reciting Holy verses. However, no loss of life or property have been reported as yet.
