Ontario: An Indian student was shot dead by unknown persons in Canada.
According to Indian media, a 21-year-old student named Harsimrat Randhawa was waiting for a bus at a bus stop when a car driver opened fire.
Harsimrat Randhawa was a student at Mohawk College in Ontario.
Police have described the student’s death in the incident as a result of a blind shot, and the student was an innocent bystander. Further investigations are underway in this regard.
According to the Indian Consulate, there was an exchange of fire between two car drivers.
At this point, the student was shot in the chest, after which she was taken to the hospital, where her death was confirmed.
