Shopkeeper had promised to deliver clothes on February 20


Karachi: A citizen in Karachi approached the court against a shopkeeper for not delivering clothes on time.
According to the details, the citizen, fed up with the shopkeeper, approached the Consumer Protection Court South, and the court issued a notice to the shopkeeper.
The petitioner said that the shopkeeper had promised to deliver the clothes on February 20. He visited the shop at different times, but the shopkeeper failed to deliver them.
The petitioner further said that the clothes were not delivered on time, due to which he had to buy another dress for his brother's engagement.
The petitioner requested the court to impose a fine of Rs50,000 for not fulfilling the promise and Rs50,000 for mental anguish.
