YouTube Music introduces 'consistent volume' feature for smoother listening
New feature is currently being tested with a limited group of users and will gradually roll out to everyone

(Web Desk): If you enjoy listening to songs on YouTube Music, there's good news — Google has added a great new feature to the app.
According to a report by 9to5Google, a “consistent volume” feature has been introduced in the YouTube Music app for Android and iOS devices.
The purpose of this feature is to maintain a similar volume range across all songs. That means whether a song is very loud or very soft, the listening experience will feel more balanced.
Louder songs will still sound loud, and softer songs will still sound soft, but this feature will automatically adjust their volume levels so the overall experience doesn’t feel jarring or uncomfortable for your ears.
Previously, YouTube apps had a “stable volume” feature available for some time, but this new update enhances it further.
According to the report, the new feature is currently being tested with a limited group of users and will gradually roll out to everyone.
If you want to check if it's available for you, open the YouTube Music app on your Android or iOS device, tap your profile picture in the top right corner, and go to Settings.
Then tap Playback (on Android) or Playback & Restrictions (on iOS).
If the feature is available for your account, you’ll see the option there.
Users had been requesting this feature for quite a while, and Google has finally delivered — though the company has not yet made an official announcement.
