Fawad Khan condemns Pahalgam attack
His post on social media did not include word ‘condemnation’

Famous Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s upcoming Hindi film ‘Abir Gulaal’ has once again come under Indian controversy.
The controversy intensified when 26 tourists were killed in a terrorist attack in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir, which India blamed on Pakistan.
After this incident, the demand for a ban on Pakistani artists has once again gained momentum in India, and the boycott of the film (#BoycottAbirGulaal) is trending on social media.
However, Fawad Khan expressed deep sorrow and regret over the incident and shared a post on Instagram in which he wrote that he was deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our prayers are with the victims and their families, and we pray for them in this difficult time.

However, Fawad Khan’s post on social media did not include the word ‘condemnation’. He has called the attack barbaric and expressed good feelings for the victims and their families.
After the Pahalgam attack, India, maintaining its old tradition, has started to shine its politics in cinema and even in sports.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), which represents 32 different unions of the Indian film industry, has once again announced a complete ban on Pakistani artists, singers, and technical staff.
The statement issued by the organization said that if any Indian producer, director, or technical expert is found working with Pakistani artists, strict action will be taken against them. We will make every effort to prevent the release of ‘Abir Gulal’ in India.
“We have protested against Pakistani artists before and will continue to do so. We challenge them to release this film in India,” said senior Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amiya Khopkar.
This is not the first time that Pakistani artists have faced opposition in India. Pakistani actors were also banned after the 2016 Uri attack.
India had also sparked controversy over Fawad Khan's film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and Mahira Khan's film 'Raees'.
