New Delhi: The Indian government has admitted to the intelligence failure in the attack in the tourist area of Pahalgam in occupied Kashmir.
An all-party conference was held in the capital, New Delhi, under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, in which the Indian government admitted to the failure of security and intelligence in the recent Pahalgam attack.

During the meeting, opposition parties raised questions about the failure of security measures and criticized the government for poor security.
Asaduddin Owaisi of the All India Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen also participated in the all-party conference. He raised the question of where India will store so much water by suspending the Indus Water Treaty and diverting the river? The answer was that it will be arranged.
India's opposition party, Congress, called the Pahalgam attack an intelligence failure and a security lapse.
Congress says that there must be a comprehensive analysis of the intelligence failure and security lapses in the Pahalgam attack, and questions should be raised on this intelligence failure and security lapses in the public interest.
Congress held India's Narendra Modi government responsible for this security failure. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi asked why there was no security in Pahalgam.
It is pertinent to note that on Tuesday, 26 tourists were killed and 12 injured in firing by unknown persons in the tourist destination Pahalgam in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Indian authorities, two foreign tourists and an Indian Navy officer were among the dead. The foreigners are from Italy and Israel.
