20% grace marks in Chemistry, 15% in Math & Physics for Intermediate first year students

(Web Desk): The Sindh Government’s Department of Universities and Boards has issued a notification granting 15% and 20% grace marks to students appearing for the Intermediate First Year 2024 annual exams.
The notification was issued following approval from the provincial cabinet during a meeting held on April 15. This will apply to the 2024 Intermediate First Year exams for Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering faculties.
The administration of the Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi has been informed in this regard.
In the notification issued by the Section Officer for Boards, Sharifuddin, it was stated that the provincial cabinet had approved the decision by the Special Committee to grant 20% grace marks in Chemistry and 15% grace marks in Mathematics and Physics to Intermediate First Year students.
It was further mentioned that action would now be taken based on the provincial cabinet's decision to grant these grace marks.
It is noteworthy that there is currently no permanent Chairman at the Intermediate Board Karachi, and the charge of the Chairman is held by the Chairman of the Matriculation Board Karachi.
