‘Police is committed to ensuring the safety of polio workers so they can carry out their duties without fear’

Lahore: A man who misbehaved with and threatened a polio worker during duty in Lohari Gate has been arrested.
According to the Lahore Police spokesperson, Lohari Gate Police took swift action and arrested the suspect, Babu, who had an altercation with the polio worker.
The incident occurred when the polio team arrived at a house to administer polio drops to children. As soon as the door opened, the suspect Babu began verbally abusing the team and issued serious threats.
According to SP City, SHO Lohari Gate Faraz Ahmed and his team were commended for their prompt response. A case has been registered against the suspect on the complaint of the area supervisor, and further investigation is underway.
SP City Bilal Ahmed stated that Lahore City Police is committed to ensuring the safety of polio workers so they can carry out their duties without fear.
