Slain terrorists belonged to banned organization BLA


Quetta: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and security forces acted on intelligence information and killed 7 terrorists in Quetta.
According to CTD officials, CTD and security forces acted on intelligence information near Chautir in the Sanjawi area of Ziarat. In the exchange of fire, 7 terrorists were killed. The slain terrorists belonged to the banned organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
Officials say that ammunition and weapons have also been recovered from the slain terrorists.
According to CTD officials, the slain terrorists were involved in various terrorist incidents.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday too, CTD had carried out an operation in the Darakhshan area of Quetta and killed two terrorists of the banned organization, including a suicide bomber.
