Over 2,000 Kashmiris are currently trapped in their homes or offices and are too afraid to move around freely

(Web Desk): In a new round of restrictions, the Indian administration in Occupied Kashmir has closed 48 public parks and tourist spots out of a total of 87.
Officials say more sites may be shut down soon, adding to concerns about the area's struggling tourism industry and tighter control over public movement.
At the same time, Kashmiris living in different Indian states — including Maharashtra, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh — are facing growing harassment. Students, workers, and traders from Kashmir report being threatened and intimidated, forcing many to leave their jobs and education and return to Srinagar for safety.
Reports say over 2,000 Kashmiris are currently trapped in their homes or offices and are too afraid to move around freely. Some students shared that they have not been able to return home for five days due to the tense situation.
Those affected are now asking for a safe way to travel back to Kashmir. These events come as pressure against Kashmiris rises across India, fueled by recent unrest and baseless allegations involving Pakistan.
