Affected passengers will be informed about alternative arrangements soon


Lahore: Due to the tension between Pakistan and India, all 10 flights of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) to Skardu and Gilgit have been canceled today.
According to the flight schedule, two flights each from Karachi and Lahore to Skardu have been canceled.
Airport officials say that 2 flights from Islamabad to Skardu and 4 flights from Islamabad to Gilgit have also been canceled. The cancelled flights include PK601, PK603, PK605, and PK 451.
Similarly, flights returning to Islamabad from Gilgit and Skardu have also been canceled, including PK602 and PK604.
According to reports, the status of two flights of a private airline from Islamabad to Skardu is also uncertain; the flights have been canceled due to security reasons.
The spokesperson said that this decision has been made in view of the potential threats in the airspace, while the affected passengers will be informed about alternative arrangements soon.
