In FIR, victim’s mother alleged that her son-in-law used to torture her daughter


Lahore: A woman died due to alleged violence by her in-laws in Kahna area of Lahore. The victim had married an already married man five years ago.
Kahna police registered a case on the statement of the victim, Fatima’s mother, Samina Tariq, and arrested her husband, Ali Azam, and son Rayan Ali.
The accused, Rayan Ali, is the victim’s stepson.
In the First Information Report (FIR), the victim’s mother has alleged that her son-in-law used to torture her daughter.
The mother alleged that on April 30, the son-in-law also tortured her daughter severely. When they reached the hospital after receiving the information, the daughter had died.
Police say that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
