Exporting donkey skin is banned under export policy

Karachi: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) foiled the smuggling of donkey skins by taking action at the port.
According to the FBR spokesperson, 285 parcels were being sent to China by claiming to be leather products, however, the FBR foiled the smuggling of donkey skins by taking action at the port.
According to the FBR spokesperson, 14,000 donkey skins were found in the parcel during checking.
The FBR spokesperson further said that under the export policy, there is a ban on the export of donkey skins. Customs authorities registered a case against the exporter and seized the skins, while the skins have been transferred to the customs warehouse.
