Karachi: The Karachi’s District and Sessions Court South has remanded the accused Armaghan in the custody of Cyber ​​Crime on a five-day physical remand in the case of running an illegal call center.

The court of the District and Sessions Judge South heard the request for physical remand of the accused by Cyber ​​Crime in the case of running an illegal call center. Accused Armaghan was presented in the court through a video link.

FIA Cyber ​​Crime officials, while requesting the physical remand of the accused, said that Armaghan is accused of running an illegal call center and transferring cryptocurrency. The physical remand is necessary for the technical investigation of the accused.

The court remanded the accused Armaghan into the custody of Cyber ​​Crime on a five-day physical remand. The court issued orders to the jail authorities to hand over the custody of Armaghan to the Cyber ​​Crime authorities.

Earlier, in the Karachi District and Sessions Court South, cybercrime authorities requested the physical remand of the accused in the Mustafa Amir murder case against Armaghan for running an illegal call center, on which the court ordered the accused to be produced through video link.

During the hearing, the investigating officer told the court that Armaghan is accused of running an illegal call center and transferring cryptocurrency; physical remand of the accused is necessary for a technical investigation.

The court asked the investigating officer where the accused is now. To which the investigating officer said that he is in jail in another case.

The court said which jail is the accused in? To which the investigating officer said that we will have to find out which jail Armaghan is in. To this, the court said that the accused should be produced through video link.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing for some time.

It is pertinent to note that Judicial Magistrate South had rejected the request for physical remand of the accused, Armaghan. Cybercrime officials have filed an appeal against the decision of the Judicial Magistrate.
