Institutions will remain closed for the safety of people


Lahore: After India attacked Pakistan, it was decided to close educational institutions in Punjab today, and a state of emergency has been imposed in the province.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that educational institutions across the province will be closed today.
Condemning India's cowardly attack, Maryam Nawaz said that protecting every inch of Pakistan is part of our faith and my oath.
She stated that the land of Punjab is the trust of the ghazis and martyrs, and the blood of the innocents flowing on this land tonight is our debt. The entire nation stands with the Pakistan Army in this war imposed on Pakistan.
Maryam Nawaz added that emergency response orders have been issued to the administration immediately. Success will be our destiny, God willing.
Punjab Chief Minister announced in her statement that all educational institutions in the province will remain closed today, Wednesday, for the safety of the people.
According to the Rawalpindi district administration, all government and private educational institutions will remain closed, while government hospitals have also been put on high alert.
After the attack by India, the leave of doctors and medical staff of all hospitals in Punjab has been canceled.
Officers and staff of all other institutions, including civil defense, have also been summoned.
It is pertinent to note that India fired missiles at 5 places while attacking Pakistan, targeting civilian populations and mosques. Two civilians were martyred in the Indian attack.
Pakistan is responding strongly to India's cowardly attack, and according to initial reports, the Pakistan Air Force has shot down 2 enemy aircraft.
