It is pertinent to note that India had attacked Pakistan’s urban areas in the dark on the night of May 6 and 7, sounding the war drums.
After the Indian attack, the Pakistani armed forces responded to the cowardly attack by shooting down 5 warplanes, including 3 Rafale aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF), and destroying several military check posts and several drones, including a brigade headquarters.
Later, the Indian army admitted defeat by hoisting the white flag at the Chura complex on the LoC.
