Epicenter of earthquake was Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan


Islamabad: Earthquake tremors were felt in the capital Islamabad, Peshawar, Swat, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, and surrounding areas.
According to the details, earthquake tremors were felt in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the federal capital Islamabad, Peshawar, Swat, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, and surrounding areas.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.3, while its depth was 230 kilometers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
On the other hand, earthquake tremors were felt in Quetta early in the morning today. The magnitude was recorded at 4.5, and the depth was 20 kilometers.
According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was 160 kilometers southwest of Quetta.
It is pertinent to note that in the past few weeks, earthquake tremors have been felt several times in various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, with magnitudes ranging from 4 to 6.
However, due to the greater depth and distance from the center of Pakistan, there has been no loss of life or major property damage.
