PNS HUNAIN and Royal Navy of Oman’s ship, RNOV KHASSAB, conduct joint naval exercise in Gulf of Oman

Muscat: Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) HUNAIN visited Muscat, Oman, as part of the Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP). Upon arrival, the ship received a warm welcome from Omani officials.
During the visit, PNS HUNAIN and the Royal Navy of Oman’s ship, RNOV KHASSAB, conducted a joint naval exercise (PASSEX) in the Gulf of Oman. This exercise was aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation and improving coordination between the two navies.
While docked, the Commanding Officer of PNS HUNAIN met with senior officials of the Royal Navy of Oman. They discussed matters of mutual interest, future naval cooperation, and regional maritime security. The Commanding Officer also conveyed best wishes from Pakistan’s Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, to the people of Oman.
In addition to high-level meetings, officers from both navies participated in professional discussions to share experiences and improve collaboration.
Pakistan Navy regularly takes part in RMSP missions to support global maritime security, safeguard international waters, and protect shipping routes. Pakistan and Oman enjoy strong brotherly relations, with regular naval engagements aimed at enhancing mutual understanding, readiness, and safety at sea in the region.
