He said that Saudi Arabia's recognition of Israel will be an honor for him

Washington: US President Donald Trump has urged Saudi Arabia to recognize Israel, saying that it would be an honor for him to recognize Israel.
Speaking at an investment forum in Riyadh during his visit to Saudi Arabia, US President Donald Trump said that it is his hope, wish, and dream that Saudi Arabia will soon restore relations with Israel and become part of the Abraham Accords.
Trump stated that if this happens, it will be a very important development for the future of the Middle East. Saudi Arabia can make this decision at its own time. Saudi Arabia's recognition of Israel will be an honor for him.
Donald Trump added that after meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, he has decided to lift sanctions on Syria. They are going to provide Syria with a new opportunity. Hopefully, the Syrian people will do something.
Trump further said that he wanted to deal with Iran for peace in the world. If Iran ignores the peace offer, we will continue strict policies through sanctions. Iran should adopt constructive policies instead of terrorism, and peace and stability will be established in the region and the world.
US President Donald Trump, while addressing, also stated that terrorism has cost the lives of many people in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. Mistreatment of the people of Gaza is unthinkable and this nightmare must end.
Trump said that he does not like wars, and he wants to see peace around the world. A few days ago, his administration successfully brokered a historic ceasefire to end the increasingly violent attacks between Pakistan and India.
The US President said that he used trade to broker a ceasefire between Pakistan and India and told both countries to trade with each other instead of throwing nuclear missiles at each other, after which the war stopped. If this war had not stopped, millions of people could have died in it.
US President Donald Trump signed $142 billion defense deals between the US and Saudi Arabia during his visit to Saudi Arabia.
The White House says the defense deal is part of a $600 billion Saudi investment promise.
The defense deals include GE gas turbine exports, a $14.2 billion energy deal, and a $4.8 billion Boeing 737 deal.
The news agency says that Saudi Arabia has also discussed the possible purchase of F-35 fighter jets from the United States, but it is not yet known whether it is also included in the defense deal.
According to Arab media, the two countries have also signed strategic economic partnership agreements and memoranda of understanding in areas including energy, minerals, space cooperation, and health.
It is pertinent to note that during this visit, President Trump will also attend a meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and will also visit Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
