Kashmir is a bilateral issue and it will be resolved bilaterally, said India


New Delhi: The Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson has said that Jammu and Kashmir is a bilateral issue and there has been no change in India's Jammu and Kashmir policy, while the Indus Waters Treaty will also remain suspended.
During a news briefing at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal stated that Pakistan contacted India twice on May 10.
Rejecting Trump's statement, he added that after the May 7 attack, there was no discussion with US officials on trade until the May 10 military operation and ceasefire agreement were reached.
Regarding Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson said that Jammu and Kashmir is a bilateral issue, there has been no change in India's Jammu and Kashmir policy, and it will be resolved bilaterally.
He added that India's position on the Kashmir dispute is as clear as before, and this issue is completely bilateral; it should be resolved only between India and Pakistan.
