A 31-gun salute will be held in Islamabad, and 21-gun salutes will take place in all provincial capitals

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced that a “Day of Gratitude” will be observed across the country tomorrow to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
In this regard, a 31-gun salute will be held in Islamabad, and 21-gun salutes will take place in all provincial capitals.
Speaking about the observance, Attaullah Tarar said that the nation will mark the Day of Gratitude in celebration of a historic victory in the battle for truth. He stated that people across Pakistan will offer prostrations of thanks to Allah, acknowledging the bravery with which the armed forces defended the country’s borders.
Special prayers will be held at the beginning of the day for the armed forces and the nation. Flag hoisting ceremonies will be organized nationwide, and tributes will be paid at the graves of martyrs. Ceremonial guard change events will take place at the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.
The federal minister also shared that prayer ceremonies will be held at memorials of martyrs, and floral wreaths will be laid. A 31-gun salute will be held in the federal capital, while each provincial capital will observe a 21-gun salute.
He further announced that a special ceremony for the Day of Gratitude will be held tomorrow night at the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the event as the chief guest, alongside the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the service chiefs.
