Pakistan targeted only military installations, whereas India attacked civilian populations

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that India suffered a financial loss of at least $3 billion during the recent conflict, while Pakistan endured loss of life. He emphasized that Pakistan targeted only military installations, whereas India attacked civilian populations.
While addressing the Senate, Ishaq Dar said that on May 7, between 70 and 80 Indian aircraft entered Pakistani airspace and dropped 24 payloads (explosive materials). These were not aimed at terrorists, he said, but were dropped on mosques and innocent civilians. In response, Pakistan shot down five Indian aircraft.
He reiterated that India suffered a financial loss of no less than $3 billion during the conflict, while Pakistan faced human casualties because India deliberately targeted civilian areas.
In contrast, Pakistan only targeted Indian military installations and did not attack any civilian areas. Among the Pakistani martyrs, a majority were women, children, and elderly people.
