2,000 emergency workers are engaged in rescue operations to assist citizens

(Web Desk): Two people lost their lives in flood-related incidents in an Australian state.
According to foreign media, record rainfall occurred in the Australian state of New South Wales, after which it was declared a disaster zone.
Due to the heavy rains in New South Wales, a flood situation emerged, leading to evacuation warnings being issued to nearly 50,000 people.
Media reports stated that 2,000 emergency workers are engaged in rescue operations to assist citizens. Additionally, two people have died and two are reported missing due to the flooding.
Because of the flood situation, educational activities have been suspended in around 100 schools, and several homes have been left without electricity. More rainfall is also forecasted for the area.
