Google integrates its AI tool Gemini into Chrome browser
Users will no longer need to open Gemini separately to use it on Chrome

(Web Desk): Internet technology company Google has integrated its artificial intelligence (AI) tool, Gemini, into its web browser, Chrome.
In a statement released by Google, the company announced that users will no longer need to open Gemini separately to use it on Chrome.
Google has added a Gemini icon at the top right corner of the Chrome browser. By clicking on the icon, users will enter the AI chat box and be able to access information through Gemini.
Although Gemini has been made part of Chrome, the icon is not yet visible to all users. The rollout is gradual, and users around the world will start seeing the Gemini icon on the top right corner of their Chrome browsers, enabling them to access AI assistance with a single click.
Before integrating Gemini into Chrome, Google had also announced the inclusion of an AI mode on its homepage, initially launching the feature in the United States.
Google faces stiff competition in AI tools and technology from rival companies, particularly ChatGPT, which has gained rapid popularity and is known for its advanced tools.
Tech giants like Google and Meta (Facebook) are actively competing to lead the AI tools and technology space.
Following several American companies, Chinese firms also recently joined the AI race, sparking a global wave of innovation where companies continue to launch new AI tools frequently.
