Campaign aims to administer polio drops to more than 2 million children in Karachi


Karachi: The anti-polio campaign has been launched across Sindh, including Karachi, from today.
According to the Emergency Operation Center, the seven-day anti-polio campaign will continue until June 1.
The Emergency Operation Center said that during the anti-polio campaign, more than 80,000 trained polio workers will administer polio drops to children across Sindh.
According to the Emergency Operation Center, more than 25,000 personnel will be deployed across Sindh for the security of anti-polio teams.
The Emergency Operation Center said that more than 19,000 polio workers will be part of the campaign in Karachi, for whose security more than 6,000 security personnel will be deployed.
According to the Emergency Operation Center, a target of administering polio drops to more than 2 million children in Karachi has been set.
