Google search app adds new 'Activity' tab for Android users
Tapping on the Activity tab gives users unified access to options like Search history, Saved items, and Collections all in one place

(Web Desk): After several months of testing, Google has officially introduced the Activity tab in the Google Search app for Android phones.
This new tab replaces the Saved tab at the bottom of the Google Search app. Now, along with Home, Search, and Notifications, users will see the Activity tab instead of Saved.
Tapping on the Activity tab gives users unified access to options like Search history, Saved items, and Collections all in one place.
According to Google, this update eliminates the need for users to navigate to the account menu to view their search history. Similarly, accessing saved items and folders within collections is now much quicker and more convenient.
The company explained that the purpose of the Activity tab is to provide users with a dedicated space to easily view and manage their digital footprint.
This tab will also be linked to Web & App Activity, a tool that allows users to effectively track their activities across Google services.
Additionally, Google is working on enhancing the Daily Lesson Card for a better user experience.
