Iran’s Supreme Leader praises PM Shehbaz’s efforts for regional peace and offers special prayers for Pakistan’s development

(Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran, where both leaders expressed their commitment to elevating Pakistan-Iran strategic relations to new heights.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar were also present at the meeting.
According to the official statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefed the Iranian Supreme Leader on India’s aggression and expansionist ambitions and expressed gratitude for Iran’s support.
The Prime Minister informed Ayatollah Khamenei about India’s expansionist agenda and reiterated that Pakistan has always desired peace in the region. He affirmed Pakistan’s strong resolve to further enhance strategic cooperation with Iran.
The Prime Minister praised the Iranian leadership’s wisdom in nuclear negotiations and made special mention of Ayatollah Khamenei’s admiration for Allama Iqbal. He also extended an invitation to visit Pakistan.
Ayatollah Khamenei praised the Prime Minister’s efforts for regional peace and offered special prayers for Pakistan’s development and the well-being of its people.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Ayatollah Khamenei is a great personality of the Muslim world, and the Muslim Ummah holds his leadership and guidance in high esteem.
