Price of 24-karat gold per tola falls by Rs 3,600, bringing it down to Rs 349,900


(Web Desk): The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported a significant decline in gold prices for the second day in a row.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs3,600, bringing it down to Rs349,900. Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams dropped by Rs3,086, now standing at Rs298,268, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams declined by Rs2,829, selling at Rs 273,422.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver per tola and per 10 grams also fell by Rs60 and Rs52, respectively, bringing the rates to Rs3,448 and Rs2,956.
According to the association, the global gold price per ounce has dropped by $36, now sitting at $3,295.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, 24-karat pure gold had seen a drop of Rs2,600, falling to Rs351,500 per tola. The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams had also decreased by Rs2,228, reaching Rs301,354, while 22-karat gold per 10 grams was selling at Rs276,251 after a similar decline.
