Miss World Scandal: UK contestant says she was treated like ‘prostitute’ in India
‘I came to participate in a respectable competition, not to be someone’s amusement or pastime’

(Web Desk): At the Miss World 2025 pageant held in India, British beauty queen Milla Magee has broken her silence over what she described as disgraceful treatment within Indian society.
In an interview with British media, 24-year-old Milla Magee revealed, “I was treated like a prostitute. I was forced to spend the entire day with wealthy, middle-aged men as if I were some form of entertainment for them.”
She added, “I came to participate in a respectable competition, not to be someone’s amusement or pastime. Even in a pageant like Miss World, there should be some moral boundaries.”
Magee disclosed that she could no longer tolerate the environment and immediately withdrew from the competition, returning to England.
Following her revelations, a wave of outrage erupted on social media, where users harshly criticized the treatment of women at Indian events.
